Welcome !!!

              PhD Student || UT Dallas

David Asante-Asare is a young and highly driven individual. I am passionate about the intersection of AI, Image Processing, and Edge AI for Bio-Imaging and Computational Imaging.

I have a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Ashesi University in Ghana where I worked as a teaching assistant for 2 years. I am currently pursuing a PhD in computer engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas under Dr. Ou Zihao. My research focuses on leveraging machine learning to enhance imaging techniques, including motion artifact correction, dynamic focusing, and high-resolution imaging.

I play the drums and a bit of the piano. I like to swim also. This portfolio will show you the different projects I have worked on as an emerging computer engineer

An Interesting Story!

While working on a project with the esp32-cam microcontroller, I run into an error I couldn't fix. I spent about two weeks just trying to fix and find solutions to the error but to no avail. I realized several other people faced the same issues but couldn't move past it. Eventually, I was able to fix it myself and I thought, why not make a video so it can help others who are facing or will face this same error. I did that and now the video has over 8K views on Youtube. It's not exactly a huge project but I'm glad that my work is out there making a difference
